Brian McCollough
Dr. Brian P. McCullough is an Associate Professor of Sport Management in the Health & Kinesiology Department at Texas A&M University.. His research focuses on the bidirectional relationship between sport and the natural environment in a subdiscipline of sport management called sport ecology. He has written 35 peer-reviewed journal articles, edited two books, authored one book, nine book chapters, and presented his research over 45 times at national and international conferences. Dr. McCullough developed and assisted in the creation of the United Nation’s Sport for Climate Action Framework and is currently working with the Commonwealth Secretariat for Sport Development and Peace integrating the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal 13 into sport throughout the Commonwealth. He is also the co-founder and co-director of the Sport Ecology Group.
